Medicom Health, Inc. Health Risk Assessments
-
Medicom Health creates "Health Risk Assessments," which are kind of like a "quiz" or questionnaire that potential and/or current patients of various hospital systems use in order to determine their risk for certain health conditions.
My role on the product team included designing the algorithms/user journey through the products using data from widely-accepted studies related to different health conditions, such as the Framingham Study which highlights risk factors for stroke and other forms of cardiovascular disease.
Once the algorithms of these products were finalized and handed over to dev, I worked with our senior product architect and CTO to craft user-facing content for the product itself, similar to the type of content an app user would encounter as they moved through different sections of the app. This included questions, explanatory content, results pages, and the "reports" which users would receive as a PDF in their email. -
Content development for the Anxiety health risk assessment, designed using the GAD-2:
* Example report that an app user would receive via email after completing the assessment: Anxiety Health Risk Assessment Example Report
* Document for Medicom customers explaining the risk levels for this assessment, as well as suggested follow-up actions to re-engage the user post-assessment: Anxiety HRA Follow-Up Strategy -
For the Depression health risk assessment, which was designed using the PHQ-2:
* Example report that an app user would receive via email after completing the assessment: Depression HRA Example Report
* Document for Medicom customers explaining the risk levels for this assessment, as well as suggested follow-up actions to re-engage the user post-assessment: Depression HRA Follow-Up Strategy -
I worked on several product support articles for customers, which are available on the Medicom website. Here are a few of the articles I wrote for the support site:
* Follow-up Wizard
* What is a Follow-Up Plan?
* Am I Using v2 or v3 Medicom Health Assessments?
